Psychoanalytische Perspectieven (PP) is an international and blind peer-reviewed journal, quarterly published in Dutch, French, German and English, by the Department of Psychoanalysis and Clinical Consulting (Ghent University). The main objective of PP is to provide an intellectual platform for scholars to promote original contributions to the theory, practice and application of Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis.

The journal primarily publishes research papers in the field of Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis, but is open for an interdisciplinary dialogue with associated domains, such as: anthropology, criminology, cross-cultural studies, education, ethics, history, linguistics, literature, media studies, methodology, performance arts (music, theatre & dance), philosophy, political science, psychology, religious studies, sociology, visual arts, women studies, etc.

The journal is published in a print version.

PP publishes original papers, review papers, conceptual papers, case studies, empirical research, book reviews, etc.
